‘Americanah’: HBO Max Orders Adaptation Of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Novel From Danai Gurira, Starring Lupita Nyong'o

HBO Max (WarnerMedia’s forthcoming streaming service) has announced a straight-to-series order for Americanah, Shadow And Act has learned. It is based on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s best-selling novel of the same name. It will be a 10-episode limited series will star Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira is the showrunner and wrote the pilot.
